Welcome to the tenth anniversary North York Moors Chamber Music Festival -

Great music in the heart of the National Park . . .

Do join us on November 10th when we unveil the 2019 festival . . .

This August for our tenth anniversary, eleven concerts adapted to the specific acoustics of each church, built upon a story-line to portray the overall theme. Affordable yet of the highest quality, we celebrated great and lesser known British music.  The composer Michael Tippett lived and worked in the area (Boosbeck) between 1932 and 1934 during which time he conceived his first string quartet and wrote the community folk opera 'Robin Hood'.  This story created the foundation for the festival theme.

For extra events do please join our mailing list and enjoy the concerts we stage throughout the year.  Our next events are on November 9th and November 10th.  Please click on the dates to purchase tickets in advance.
