Welcome to the tenth North York Moors Chamber Music Festival

Great music in the heart of the National Park . . .

Do join us in 2018 for our tenth anniversary . . .

Eleven concerts adapt to the specific acoustics of each church, building a story-line to portray the overall theme. Affordable yet of the highest quality, we invite you all to join us on a revelatory journey this year, celebrating great and lesser known British music.  The composer Michael Tippett lived and worked in the area during the 1930s and indeed wrote his first piano sonata and string quartet up here, both featured in the festival.  This creates the foundation for the festival theme, to be explored in more depth this August both in the brochure and on the stage.

For extra events do please join our mailing list and enjoy the concerts we stage throughout the year.
